Our vascular program takes a pioneering approach to the treatment of vascular disease through personalized and comprehensive treatments.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>About the Department and the Position:</strong> The Invasive Cardiovascular Labs at Alexandria hospital are comprised of 6 labs (Cardiac Cath Labs, Interventional Radiology Labs, and Electrophysiology Labs) and see cases such as Coronary, Heart, Caths and Peripherals.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong><u>Duties/Responsibilities</u></strong></span></p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;  padding-left: 73px\">\n <li>\n  <p><span>Assists the physician with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cath lab with the preparation of the sterile field, selection and preparation of instruments and supplies, manipulation of cardiac catheters, guidewires etc. and injection of contrast media. Administers medications, including moderate sedation, as directed by the physician.</span></p></li>\n <li>\n  <p><span>Calibrates, operates, and troubleshoots a wide variety of equipment and instruments&nbsp;</span></p></li>\n <li>\n  <p><span>Selects appropriate instruments and supplies based on patient presentation during procedures.</span></p></li>\n <li>\n  <p><span>Provides safe and therapeutic care in a holistic and caring way while incorporating differences into the provision of care.
