We offer clients advanced in house engineering & design with 3D modeling, piloting, fabrication and machining, in house control panel shop, and a full range of field services, allowing us to provide turn key solutions.\n\nWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. As a Senior Assembler, you will take a lead role in the fabrication and assembly of mechanical equipment and components in a shop environment. You will work independently and provide guidance to junior team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards.\n\n Join our team and thrive in a role that boasts a safe and clean indoor facility, equipped with state of the art amenities including new machinery, overhead cranes and all required equipment.\n\nPlease see our website link for an in depth look at our facility and shop environment.\n\n Responsibilities will include: \n\n·       Assist the Assembly Manager in assessing cycle time and works with Sales to provide information regarding delivery\n\ndates, work order expediency and new product assembly\n\n·       Plan and lay out assembly projects as to sequence of assembly, testing procedures, shipping dates, etc. to conform with\n\nprocess, prints and quality specifications\n\n·       Install pumps, instruments, valves, meters according to Process and Instrumentation drawing and Mechanical layout\n\ndrawing\n\n·       Measure, cut, thread, glue, solder and assemble new pipe, PVC and Steel, according to drawings\n\n·       Troubleshooting and repair of various mechanical systems\n\n·       Obtain materials required to complete assembly work according to drawings\n\n·       Ensure components are assembled to final products according to drawings\n\n·       Ensure assembly work is carried out on schedule and within budget\n\n·       Pack and crate all necessary parts and accessories for shipping while performing quality control and detailed check list\n\n·       Work with team members on improving missed targets\n\n·       Ensure compliance to all quality & safety related policies, procedures and system requirements.\n\n·       Perform other related duties as assigned\n\n Requirements\n\n 3 5 years of experience in mechanical assembly work\n Prior experience in plumbing work an asset\n Completed high school education\n\n Benefits\n\n Benefits & Perks \n\n Industry Leading Compensation \nAWC offers competitive, industry leading compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance.
