Office Manager / Bookkeeper Charlottesville, VA | Full-Time | Onsite Compensation will be based on experience We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Manager / Bookkeeper to join our team in Charlottesville, VA. This position is fully onsite and will play a key role in supporting daily office operations, accounting processes, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, confident working independently, and comfortable managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process and verify invoices while ensuring timely and accurate recordkeeping Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Perform account reconciliations and support general bookkeeping functions Maintain financial records and administrative documentation in an organized manner Coordinate with vendors regarding payments, invoices, and account inquiries Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations Manage incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence Assist with reporting, data tracking, and special projects as assigned by leadership Support internal processes and help maintain operational efficiency across the office Required Qualifications Prior experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, office administration, or a related role Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision Professional written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Preferred Qualifications Experience using accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management software Previous experience supporting both administrative and accounting functions within an office setting Ideal Candidate Profile Dependable, accountable, and proactive Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in an onsite environment Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-focused approach Takes initiative and demonstrates ownership of assigned responsibilities
