    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the role </span></p>\n<p>We are looking for an excellent Purchasing &amp; Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Israel.</p>\n<p>The position is hybrid - 4 days a week from the office, and 1 day from home.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Direct Manager: </span>Supply Chain Manager</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Purchasing &amp; Supplier Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including monitoring inventory levels and issuing purchase orders.</li>\n<li>Maintain daily communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and continuity of supply.</li>\n<li>Lead cross-functional discussions to align purchasing plans with production and demand requirements.</li>\n<li>Build strong relationships with suppliers to improve performance, responsiveness, and reliability.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Inventory Planning &amp; Forecasting</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock balance.</li>\n<li>Implement plans and actions to prevent shortages, excess inventory, and obsolescence.</li>\n<li>Support demand planning and collaborate closely with planning and warehouse teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Continuous Improvement &amp; Cost Optimization</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities across the supply base.</li>\n<li>Develop and qualify alternative (second-source) suppliers to mitigate risk and enhance flexibility.</li>\n<li>Establish and improve purchasing processes and workflows for both ongoing production and new product introductions (NPI).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Engineering &amp; R&amp;D Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Source specialized and custom components for engineering and product development projects.</li>\n<li>Ensure timely procurement to support project milestones and accelerate development timelines.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Supplier Quality &amp; Performance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Support supplier qualification processes in collaboration with QA.</li>\n<li>Drive supplier improvement initiatives and corrective action plans as needed.</li>\n<li>Monitor supplier performance metrics and ensure compliance with company standards.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Logistics &amp; Trade Operations</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Support import and export activities, including coordination of inbound components and outbound medical device shipments.</li>\n<li>Work with logistics partners to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective transportation.</li>\n<li>Ensure documentation and processes meet regulatory and operational requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field</li>\n<li>2 years of experience in purchasing / supply chain / logistics</li>\n<li>Strong organizational and coordination skills</li>\n<li>Experience working in a manufacturing environment (medical devices – advantage)</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally</li>\n<li>Fluent in English</li>\n<li>Medical devices or pharmaceuticals experience – advantage.</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with global ERP software Experience (SAP – advantage)</li>\n<li>Import export experience – advantage</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Personality:</span></p>\n<p>At LTS, we value collaboration, innovation, and accountability.</p>\n<p>We're looking for individuals who can:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teamwork: Collaborate effectively, positive attitude.</li>\n<li>Accountability: Take ownership of challenges, uphold standards, can do attitude.</li>\n<li>Customer Focus: Exceed internal and external customer needs.</li>\n<li>Innovation: Create new opportunities with enthusiasm and passion.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
