    "description": "<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Sign On Bonus</strong>: $6,000.00</li>\n <li><strong>Department</strong>: Respiratory</li>\n <li><strong>Schedule</strong>: Multiple Shifts AvailablePRNFull Time Nights,  7p-7a, Every 3rd weekend</li>\n <li><strong>Work Location</strong>: UAB St. Vincent's East</li>\n <li><strong>Benefits for eligible positions only include</strong>: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Do</h2>\n<p>Provide evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assess patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis.</li>\n <li>Implement and monitor patient care plan and equipment. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition. Perform advanced respiratory care modalities.</li>\n <li>Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome.</li>\n <li>Educate the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs.</li>\n <li>Respond to emergency resuscitation team code.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Need</h2>\n<p>Licensure / Certification / Registration:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.</li>\n <li>Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.</li>\n <li>Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Alabama Board of Respiratory Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.</li>\n <li>Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.</li>\n <li>Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.</li>\n <li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
