We provide:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive health benefits that start day 1</li>\n <li>Student Loan Repayment Assistance & Reimbursement Programs</li>\n <li>Family-focused benefits </li>\n <li>Wellness incentives</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Ongoing mentorship, development, leadership programs...and more!</p>\n<h2>Description</h2>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs duties involved with cleaning patient and non-patient areas by utilizing appropriate cleaning aids.</li>\n <li>Pays close attention to cleaning detail.</li>\n <li>Cleans, polishes furniture/fixtures in assigned areas and arranges furniture and/or equipment as directed.</li>\n <li>Cleans floors with vacuums, dust mops, and/or wet mops.</li>\n <li>Collects and removes trash and recyclable items and deposits to designated area.</li>\n <li>May be required to dispose of biochemical waste in accordance with policy and procedures.</li>\n <li>Operates light power equipment and performs preventive maintenance on equipment; e.g., ensures vacuum cleaner bags are emptied regularly.</li>\n <li>Maintains adequate stock of supplies in bathrooms and storage areas.</li>\n <li>Tells supervisor when time to restock and re-order supplies.</li>\n <li>Greets and acknowledges patients, families, and coworkers to ensure a positive environment.</li>\n <li>Performs work in a safe manner by practicing all infection control procedures, being aware of safety hazards and acting on hazards accordingly.</li>\n <li>Follows prescribed cleaning techniques and uses cleaning solutions appropriately.</li>\n <li>Maintains security and confidentiality of areas by locking/unlocking doors and performing related functions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.</li>\n <li>Some positions within this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Details</h2>\n<p>Emory is an equal opportunity employer, and qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by state or federal law.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Emory Healthcare is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities upon request.
