          "text": "<p>Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the activities of Warehouse department operations and is responsible for the performance of all functions within the department.</p><ul><li>Lead, coach, mentor, motivate and inspire direct reports to achieve an optimum level of performance by consistently demonstrating role model behavior in all that is said and done.</li></ul><ul><li>Plans and directs Warehouse activities and establishes priorities in keeping with safe, effective, and efficient operations and cost factors, while ensuring inventory accuracy and timeliness.</li></ul><ul><li>Work with industrial engineering and management personnel to establish productivity and quality standards.</li></ul><ul><li>Set goals for employees and motivate Warehouse personnel to achieve their goals.</li></ul><ul><li>Work with the supervisors to develop a safety culture with zero incidents/accidents.</li></ul><ul><li>Conduct 5S audits. Ensure 5S audit actions are addressed in a timely manner and are effective.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure employees know and understand customer and quality requirements and standards.</li></ul><ul><li>Set the quality direction to meet/exceed customer requirements in a cost-effective manner.</li><li>Maintain employee awareness and adherence to ISO standards and procedures. Ensure the Quality Policy and objectives are understood and enacted.</li><li>Ensure process corrective actions are addressed in a timely manner and are effective, including conducting audits of effectiveness.</li><li>Provide leadership in identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements in the Warehouse.</li><li>Ensure that equipment is maintained and operated in a safe manner.</li><li>Evaluate and provide training as needed, setting in place a long-term training strategy.</li><li>Track employee progress and evaluate as needed.</li><li>Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports in a timely manner. Recommend increases in compensation in accordance with pre-determined guidelines.</li><li>Participate in the annual Management Resource Planning (MRP) process. Prepare, communicate and maintain career development plans for all direct reports.</li><li>Compile, distribute, evaluate, and action Warehouse metrics.</li><li>With inventory control personnel, conducts cycle counts and physical inventory activities as required.</li><li>Works with inter and intra-department personnel to ensure inventory accuracy, and to ensure effective corrective actions put in place to correct inventory accuracy deficiencies.</li><li>Participate in and satisfactorily complete all training seminars and related programs required of the assigned position.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management representatives within the scope of responsibility and the requirements of the job.</li></ul>",
