With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.</p>\n<p><strong>Role Description</strong>:</p>\n<p>Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated <strong>Cost Engineer&nbsp;</strong>to support one of the <strong>most iconic and consequential infrastructure initiatives in the United States</strong> — the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP).</p>\n<p>We are working in partnership with Parsons and Mace as part of the <strong>MPA Delivery Partner team</strong>, selected by the Gateway Development Commission to deliver this transformative project. The HTP is a critical component of the broader Gateway Program <strong>— one of the most ambitious and impactful transportation initiatives in the nation</strong> — and is designed to strengthen mobility, enhance resiliency, and ensure the long-term reliability of the Northeast Corridor.</p>\n<p>The project encompasses the construction of a new, two-track rail tunnel beneath the Hudson River, along with the full rehabilitation of the existing 113-year-old North River Tunnel. This vital infrastructure supports more than 200,000 daily passengers via Amtrak and NJ TRANSIT and serves as a backbone for economic activity and connectivity between New York and New Jersey.</p>\n<p>This is more than just a job — <strong>it’s a once-in-a-generation opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant infrastructure program</strong> that will reshape rail transportation, drive sustainable economic growth, and improve regional accessibility for millions. As part of this high-performing, multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver excellence on one of the most technically complex and high-profile projects in the world.</p>\n<p>If you're seeking to make a meaningful, lasting impact — while advancing your career alongside some of the best minds in the industry — <strong>this is your moment</strong>.</p>\n<p><strong>Role Accountabilities</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Verify contractor invoices for accuracy and compliance.</li>\n <li>Track and analyze project costs, comparing budgeted costs to actual expenditures and earned values.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Generate detailed monthly reports for upper management and stakeholders, highlighting cost variances, performance indices, and forecasts.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Use tools like Power BI and Excel to visualize data and ensure that it accurately reflects the project's financial health.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Input and manage cost-related data in PMIS platforms like E-builder, Unifier, or Kahua.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain data accuracy and consistency across systems, understanding system structures, workflows, and data dependencies.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Oversee data imports and exports between PMIS and other data management tools like Access and Excel.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Work closely with project managers to establish and manage the project budget, tracking expenditures and adjusting forecasts as needed.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Monitor budget trends and analyze expenditures against the forecast to identify potential risks or opportunities.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Act as the primary point of contact for cost-related inquiries, ensuring clear and concise communication with various project stakeholders.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong>:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 10 years of experience managing cost on&nbsp;large-scale infrastructure and transit projects</li>\n <li>Experience with&nbsp;Kahua, Sage, Unifier and E-builder</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Skills and Abilities</strong>:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly and concisely.</li>\n <li>Experience managing costs on large-scale federal programs and generating monthly financial reports to ensure federal regulations. &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Certified Cost Engineer (CCE) preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
