Description
If you’re looking for more, you’ve come to the right place.
From the moment we opened our doors in 1981, we knew we wanted to be different. The people who work here are special, and that’s what makes us special. Our team members uphold the standards we set long ago by making the exceptional everyday, building relationships with our customers and with each other, and finding a place where their potential meets opportunity.
Be part of what makes us different.
You’ll lead the Inventory Replenishment team, defining and executing strategies that support the growth of Farm Boy’s replenishment programs. Through strong cross-functional partnerships, this role ensures effective replenishment and product availability, enabling the Retail business to deliver a best-in-class fresh food experience. Here are some of the other ways you’ll help us stand out:
Lead the development and execution of Farm Boy’s replenishment strategies and programs to support business objectives. Drive inventory performance, including: turns, fill rates, shelf-life, and product freshness, through effective use of forecasting, reporting, and data analytics. Partner with Supply Chain to ensure the accurate and timely flow of information and product across the business. Leverage data-driven insights to support and enhance inventory control models. Provide leadership and direction to the Inventory Replenishment and Category Administration teams, supporting daily operations and program execution. Identify operational opportunities and implement strategic action plans to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize planning and execution, ensuring alignment of sales plans and purchase orders. Develop and implement distribution strategies that maintain appropriate inventory levels across all locations. Guide the Inventory Replenishment team in the use of reporting tools to identify exceptions, risks, and opportunities in daily inventory management. Establish scalable processes to address operational complexities, including space and production capacity constraints. Contribute to overall team success by taking on additional related responsibilities as needed.
What you bring to the table.
We provide the opportunity, and you bring the potential.
A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service. Typically requires post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or a related field, with 7 years of progressive experience in replenishment, supply chain, or operations within a grocery or food retail environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of retail replenishment, supply chain operations, and ERP systems within the food industry. Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop, mentor, and inspire teams while driving continuous improvement. Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships. Passion for fresh food retail and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that includes extended periods of sitting, repetitive tasks, frequent computer use, open office noise, and a flexible schedule that includes occasional travel between stores and regions with reliable transportation. Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset. What we bring to the table.
At Farm Boy, we believe in supporting our Team Members throughout their careers. Whether, it’s at our Home Office or our stores, we’re proud to stand out in the market as a workplace that offers:
