    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n In your role as Supervisor of Master Control, you will support the playout and origination of CBS/NBC Stations that are broadcasting on our new Cloud-Base Master Control Platform. In this position, you will provide leadership, guidance and development on a team of Master Control Operators. You will assist with training and skills development for members of your team.\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<p><b>Major Responsibilities:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise the “day to day” operations of the Media Operations Center</li>\n <li>Support the team during Live Local News and Local/Network Sports Events.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Assist the Sr. Manager of the Media Operation Center with the creation, training, implementation of new processes and workflows.</li>\n <li>Support and in cases, oversee training initiatives for Master Control Operators</li>\n <li>Act as a liaison for the group between clients and partners in order to strengthen partnerships with Master Control (Station General Manager, Traffic Department, On Air Promotion, Programming, Engineering, etc.).</li>\n <li>Perform the duties of Master Control Operator when needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Consistently check in with staff and update regularly about workflow processes and changes made for the “day to day”</li>\n <li>Ensure completion of daily tasks</li>\n <li>Actively participate in developing positive employee relations&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prepare performance evaluations, writing and participating in yearly reviews</li>\n <li>Take responsibility for the work environment, both culturally and physically</li>\n <li>Manage staffing needs to include attendance issues, resolving Call-Ins and all unscheduled shifts.</li>\n <li>Assist with special projects as necessary</li>\n <li>Approach operations and resourcing using an agile and lean mindset.</li>\n <li>Compile data and/or generate reports, as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ Years experience as Master Control Operator or Technicians in Master Control and Ingest Areas of Television and Content Media Companies.</li>\n <li>Experience with On Air Master Control Automation Systems</li>\n <li>Experience with Cloud Automation Playout System – AMAGI CLOUDPORT (A PLUS)&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience in troubleshooting operational issues (Playout, Media, Caption, etc.).</li>\n <li>Experience with digital workflows and digital video technologies.</li>\n <li>Experience with Systems and Hardware for Content Ingest, Playout and Distribution.</li>\n <li>Experience in Switching Live Local News and Sporting Events. (A MUST)</li>\n <li>Experience in Local Station Operations.</li>\n <li>Available to work any shift in a 24/7 Operation as well as holidays and weekends.</li>\n <li>Excellent Writing Skills of Technical Operating Procedures.
