Description

The Managing Director is responsible for partnering with Real Estate producers, leading growth strategy, strategic client engagement, technical resources, carrier relationships, and technical education for the Real Estate practice. Position responsibilities • Leads client engagement strategy for Real Estate vertical • Maintains book of business to include largest and most complex clients within Real Estate. Conducts client-related Account Executive duties for associated clients • Develops, implements, and supports practice strategy and growth goals in coordination with Producer and P&C Practice Leader and/or COO – Risk Solutions • Partner with Producers and Directors to drive creation of industry-specific tools, content, and analytics • Coordinate practice capabilities with Producers and Directors to ensure consistent service delivery • Identifies and anticipates industry trends to ensure programs, products, and services are aligned to meet client needs • Fosters the strategic alliance with the insurance markets in business segment, creating new products and/or distribution strategies for growth • Creates intellectual capital for the practice by developing and leveraging tools, strategic partnerships, and local resources • Participate in national Real Estate meetings to drive consistent, best-in-class branding • Partners with Real Estate Director in the creation and implementation of education program for both associates within Real Estate, as well as others, as necessary • Develops and implements account servicing and marketing strategies with current and potential Clients within industry verticals • Cultivates executive-level relationships with national vendor partners, including developing initiatives, resource maximization, and conflict resolution • Works closely with Producers to negotiate and help close largest and most complex prospective clients • Builds strong relationships and collaborates effectively with Directors and Team Leads to ensure the vertical is delivering products, processes, and services that best serve client needs • Participates in annual Real Estate strategic planning • Oversees practice deliverables • Researches industry trends and governmental regulations • Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed The Managing Director is responsible for partnering with Real Estate producers, leading growth strategy, strategic client engagement, technical resources, carrier relationships, and technical education for the Real Estate practice. Masters or advanced degree in related field preferred. • Typically, seven to ten years of client service experience is required within assigned industry vertical. • Five or more years of demonstrated leadership ability with either people management, project management, program management, or similar experience with the ability to influence teams. • Ten or more years’ experience in marketing and servicing the insurance needs of complex client accounts • Ability to demonstrate a strong sales mindset to include strong C-Suite presence, presentation skills, problem-solving, and adaptability. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required • Understands industry trends and governmental regulations • Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting the confidentiality of client and company information • Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines • Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed • Legally able to work in the United States This position may be eligible for annual discretionary bonus consideration.
