    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a<strong> full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)</strong> to join Ascension St. Thomas Behavioral Health Hospital in Nashville, TN.</p>\n<p>Position Highlights:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-time, 40 hours per week</li>\n <li>1 opening available</li>\n <li>Base salary starting at $130,000</li>\n <li>On-site coverage one weekend per month</li>\n <li>No sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, or productivity bonus</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensed Nurse Practitioner</li>\n <li>Board Certified PMHNP preferred</li>\n <li>Active DEA license required</li>\n <li>Behavioral health experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<li>Provide psychiatric clinical services</li>\n<li>Support risk reduction initiatives</li>\n<li>Provide weekend coverage one weekend per month</li>\n<p>Ascension St. Thomas Behavioral Health Hospital is a 90-bed behavioral health facility with a team of 8 providers dedicated to delivering high-quality psychiatric care.</p>\n<p>For more information, please contact us. <strong>aylen H at [email protected]</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Summary:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team.</li>\n <li>Participate in the formulation of patient Master Treatment Plan</li>\n <li>Assess physical and psychiatric health of patient and formulate measures to meet patient needs.</li>\n <li>Chart clinical observation (direct or through dictation), evaluations and treatment of patient in required time according to facility guidelines.</li>\n <li>Communicate with physicians and other staff as necessary to provide quality care for patient within appropriate guidelines.</li>\n <li>Encourage family involvement in patient care. Respond to identified patient and family educational needs.</li>\n <li>Support and follow legal requirements, hospital policy and procedures, medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Provide services that are in accordance with the state guidelines for Nurse Practitioners.</li>\n <li>Provide on-call responsibilities on scheduled basis directed by medical staff.</li>\n <li>May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe medication.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.  When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.
