This role focuses on delivering legendary service by addressing member inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting the credit union&#39;s products and services in alignment with our mission to improve the financial lives of our Fire Family.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><strong>Typical responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Recommend FFCU financial products and services to members to meet individual member needs.</li><li>Process and manage member accounts and/or open new and sub-accounts.</li><li>Process, manage and decision consumer loan applications per consumer lending policies and underwriting guidelines.</li><li>Process and manage credit and debit cards.</li><li>Troubleshoot, research, respond, and provide training on member services technology and related issues.</li><li>Work with other employees and departments to ensure member requests are processed for investments, mortgages, business loans, and insurance.</li><li>Participate in special projects and perform other assignments as needed.</li><li>May occasionally travel to attend meetings, conferences, training, or other work-related events.</li></ul><p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience in technical support, sales, customer service, and banking at a Credit Union or Banking institution.</li><li>Experience with consumer loan application and processing.</li><li>Experience with account opening and teller transactions.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>All candidates must be bondable and maintain bondable status throughout employment in accordance with credit union regulatory requirements.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p>We offer exceptional benefits to our employees, including:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Competitive salary with a pay for performance bonus</li><li>Fully paid Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits package for employees.</li><li>Fully paid Life insurance, AD&amp;D, short and long-term disability coverage</li><li>401k plan with a 3% safe harbor from the credit union and a matching program of up to 4%</li><li>Education reimbursement of up to $5,250 annually, along with a 0% education loan assistance program</li><li>Pet Insurance</li><li>3 weeks of PTO annually including 2 &frac12; days of float time.</li><li>9 paid holidays plus 2 half days</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Firefighters First Federal Credit Union is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
