    "description": "<p>Join our four-person team where you’ll safely operate equipment, manage inventory, and help keep wood treating and shipping running smoothly while meeting daily production goals.</p>\n<p>                                                                                               </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Status:</span> Nonexempt - paid hourly and eligible for overtime pay. </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports to:</span> RWP Plant Manager</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB OVERVIEW: </span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>This is a full-time position. Generally, the work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 5:45 a.m. to 5 p.m., and may include some Saturdays.  Weekly work schedules are shared in advance and can range from 40 to 60 hours per work week.</li>\n<li>Occasional travel to Muscle Shoals for training and company events is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Treating Plant Operations</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, tag, pull pieces, package, and bundle lumber and non-lumber items per order notes.</li>\n<li>Operate forklift to load and unload treating plant tram.</li>\n<li>Operate forklift to move lumber and other materials throughout the plant and property.</li>\n<li>Half pack and repackage lumber.</li>\n<li>Complete daily paperwork and basic computer tasks using Microsoft Office programs.</li>\n<li>Communicate equipment, product, or workflow issues to the RWP Plant Manager.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties assigned by the RWP Plant Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Shipping &amp; Receiving</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate forklift to load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.</li>\n<li>Check inbound and outbound loads for accuracy and safety.</li>\n<li>Follow shipping and receiving schedules and keep records updated.</li>\n<li>Operate company-owned and leased trucks to move, place, weigh, and transport trailers.</li>\n<li>Complete trailer inspections according to DOT regulations before moving dollied trailers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arrive on time and follow all company policies in the Employee Handbook.</li>\n<li>Attend daily pre-shift meetings.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate equipment and machinery according to company, OSHA, DOT, and product safety standards.</li>\n<li>Maintain and protect company equipment and property.</li>\n<li>Report maintenance needs, damaged equipment, and safety concerns.</li>\n<li>Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid driver’s license</li>\n<li>Forklift experience with UTD certification or the ability to demonstrate safe handling of forklifts in an on-site test.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ABOUT RWP &amp; UTD</span></p>\n<p>Ringgold Wood Preserving, LLC (RWP) is a lumber treating plant in Ringgold, Georgia.
