    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>SHIFT & SCHEDULE</strong></p>\n<p>Full Time, Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS</strong></p>\n<p>· Participate in patient positioning and surgical site verification</p>\n<p>· Assist with prepping and draping the surgical field</p>\n<p>· Ensure all instruments, implants, and equipment are available and functioning</p>\n<p>· Assist with controlling bleeding using cautery, clamps, or ties</p>\n<p>· Assist with deep and superficial wound closure</p>\n<p>· Perform knot tying, running sutures, or staple application as appropriate</p>\n<p>· Pass instruments efficiently and accurately</p>\n<p>· Assist with drilling, reaming, suctioning, irrigation, and cutting sutures</p>\n<p>· Assist with reduction, positioning, and implant support in orthopedic cases</p>\n<p>· Communicate effectively with surgical team</p>\n<p>· Participate in on-call rotation for trauma and after-hours cases</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p>\n<p>· Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program</p>\n<p>· Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)</p>\n<p>· Orthopedic surgical experience strongly preferred</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The individual must be able to:</p>\n<p>· Stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear. Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff. The individual must use an assisted-lift device or get another individual(s) to assist with the lift that is over these maximum limits.</p>",
