Our location at the Del Rey Yacht Club in Marina Del Rey, CA, is currently looking to add to our team in the position of Food Expeditor/Food Runner.</p><p>Check us out on the web at www.providerfoodservice.com</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Job:</strong></p><p>The food expeditor/food runner acts as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the waitstaff to ensure a steady workflow throughout the various departments the restaurant.</p><p>Example of Food Expeditor/Food Runner Responsibilities:</p><p>1) Facilitate kitchen orders.</p><p>2) Prioritize outgoing meals to ensure that no orders are lost, forgotten, or delayed.</p><p>3) Maintain quality control of out going food.</p><p>4) Facilitate communication between the front of house so that different departments of the restaurant can communicate without leaving their stations</p><p>5) Help monitor food safety.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Our Ideal Candidate Brings:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant</li><li>Ability to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.</li><li>Ability to bend and lift to 40 lbs.</li><li>Ability to tolerate exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.</li><li>Ability to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and changing environment.</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.</li></ul><p><strong>What We Will Do For YOU:</strong></p><ul><li>Pay Rate: $17.81 PLUS Tips</li><li>Tips paid out for all shifts</li><li>Vacation Pay after 12 months of employment</li><li>Sick time for all employees</li><li>Medical Benefits for Full Time Team Members</li><li>Meal Discounts</li><li>Employee Referral Program</li><li>Career Growth Opportunities</li><li>Flexible hours</li></ul><p><br></p>",
