We offer a full turnkey experience for our clients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>For our employees, we offer rewarding benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, and 401k (with company match). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and participate in E-Verify.</p>\n<h2>About this Role</h2>\n<p>FiberTel is looking for a <strong>Vac Truck Operator</strong> for our Springville, UT location.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <strong>Vac Truck Operator</strong> will be responsible for the safe transportation of the vac truck to and from the sites. The Operator will also operate the machine in a safe and skillful manner. The preferred applicant will help the team as needed in all capacities to successfully complete the job and will preform any additional duties as directed by the foreman. This is a pipeline position and will be a part of said crew.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>This position includes travel opportunities. Higher wages apply for CDL A holders.</em></p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate all heavy machinery in a safe manner</li>\n <li>Drive vehicle in safe manner following all rules of the road</li>\n <li>Follow all on-site safety procedures</li>\n <li>Ensure contents & equipment are properly secured during transportation</li>\n <li>Comply with all DOT regulations and rules</li>\n <li>Perform daily vehicle pre-trip inspections and JHA</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Possess a valid CDL class A</li>\n <li>Experience operating a vac truck</li>\n <li>Clean driving record (no more than 2 tickets in the last 5 years)</li>\n <li>Strong focus on quality and safety</li>\n <li>Excellent time management skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>*Pay is based on experience and skill set.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n<p>This is a full-time hourly position, expected to work at least 40 hours per week. This position operates in an outdoor environment and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including; extreme cold, rain, sleet, snow, humidity, high temperatures, and high wind. The outside work environment will vary throughout the day including changes in terrain, traffic, urban settings, and/or rural settings. This position may occasionally be exposed to natural gas and to the risk of electrical shock. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>The employee will need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours at a time), tolerate work in extreme weather conditions, speak and hear worksite safety instructions, withstand prolonged and repeated: lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching and feeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee will need to be able to regularly lift 75 pounds.
