    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Position Summary:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">The Commercial Trim Carpenter is responsible for designing, building, installing, and repairing structures, fixtures, furniture, and other items using different types of materials including wood and fiberglass. This position works in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Essential Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of materials needed for each job.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Cut, shape, and smooth wood and other material (e.g. fiberglass, plastic, drywall) according to measurements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Build window frames, doors, staircases, etc. by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall ensuring they are leveled and compatible.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and install them where designated.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Build scaffolding and other construction structures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Replace panes of glass, ceiling tiles, and doors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Install partitions, doors, and windows.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Check all work along the way to ensure it's up to code and specifications.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Leadership Skills and Characteristics:</span></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Reliable and responsible for quality work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Effective time-management skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Team collaboration skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Able to work independently with minimal supervision and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Immediate Supervisor:  </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">This position reports to the Doors/Hardware Superintendent.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Required Education, Skills, and Experience:</span></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Proven experience as a Trim Carpenter.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to read technical documents and drawings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.</span><br></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Note: In accordance with Federal Law, Bjerk Builders, LLC does not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, color, race, national origin, religion, disability, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ancestry, political belief or activity, status as a veteran, or any other protected characteristic as established by law.</span></p>",
