    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to be part</strong><strong> of our Clinical Team.</strong></p>\n<h2>What We Offer You:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>403(b) Retirement Account with Company Matching</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<p>The Registered Dietitian is a member of the interdisciplinary health team and provides medical nutrition services and nutrition counseling in a primary care practice setting. Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Evaluate nutritional status of individuals and provide nutrition counseling and consulting to individuals, as well as collaborating with health professionals within the organization.</li>\n <li>Study and analyze current scientific nutritional studies to assist in developing standards, guides for use in Blue Ridge Community Health Services. </li>\n <li>Plan, evaluate and conduct nutrition education programs and develop educational materials for various audiences and at all BRCHS sites.</li>\n <li>Responsible for supporting organizational mission and goal achievement, organization quality goals, and providing safe, patient-center care.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We're Looking For:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition required or equivalent Bachelor’s in a related field from an accredited school.</li>\n <li>Certification/Licensure Specific Requirements:RD: Currently a Registered Dietitian through the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR)     LDN: Current certification as a Licensed Nutritionist and licensed to practice in state of North Carolina.</li>\n <li>One to two years of supervised training and experience working as a Registered Dietitian.</li>\n <li>Experience in working in ambulatory care setting</li>\n <li>Bilingual <em>preferred</em>, but not required.  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Blue Ridge Health:</h2>\n<p>At Blue Ridge Health our mission is to improve Health, inspire Hope, and advance Healing through access to Compassionate, Affordable, and Quality Care.
