We especially welcome candidates who can manage independent travel to the JD Lodge near Goldrush Operations in Crescent Valley, NV.</span></p><p><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><p><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Reporting to the Underground Development Shifter, the Underground Miner is responsible for the following:</span></p><p><span class=\"fontstyle3\">• </span><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">You will help to foster a strong safety culture, promoting and exemplifying safe work</span></span></p><p><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">practices and our core values throughout the organization</span></span></p><p><span class=\"fontstyle3\">• </span><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Operate underground equipment (jumbo, bolter, scoop, haul truck, etc.) to safely and</span></span></p><p><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">efficiently meet daily production and development targets.</span></span></p><p><span class=\"fontstyle3\">• </span><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Perform drilling, loading, priming, and blasting activities according to engineered designs</span></span></p><p><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">and company standards.</span></span></p><p><span class=\"fontstyle3\">• </span><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Conduct pre-operational checks and basic maintenance on equipment, reporting any</span></span></p><p><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">defects or issues to supervision.</span></span></p><p><span class=\"fontstyle3\">• </span><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Visually inspect, scale, wash down, and paint the face; identify and address hazards</span></span></p><p><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">such as bootlegs, miss holes, flags, and lifters.</span></span></p><p><span class=\"fontstyle3\">• </span><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Assess ground conditions and install ground support as per the Ground Control</span></span></p><p><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Management Plan (GCMP).</span></span></p><p><span class=\"fontstyle3\">• </span><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Prepare and advance development headings, including mucking, trucking, bolting,</span></span></p><p><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">drilling, loading, and servicing.</span></span></p><p><span class=\"fontstyle3\">• </span><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Place and remove blast guards and ensure compliance with all blasting procedures.</span></span></p><p><span class=\"fontstyle3\">• </span><span style=\"color:rgb(52,52,51);\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Complete daily workplace inspections, equipment logs, and safety reports;
