    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The<strong> NDT (FPI and/or MPI) Level II Technician</strong> is responsible for performing, interpreting, and documenting non-destructive inspections on aerospace components in accordance with applicable specifications and standards. This role supports quality assurance in a special processing environment, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary: $25- $35/hr DOE </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Perform NDT inspections using methods such as:<strong>Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI/PT)</strong><strong>Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI/MT)</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interpret inspection results and determine accept/reject criteria per aerospace specifications (e.g., ASTM, AMS, NADCAP).</li>\n <li>Set up and calibrate NDT equipment in accordance with approved procedures.</li>\n <li>Prepare and maintain inspection reports, logs, and certifications.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with NADCAP and customer-specific requirements.</li>\n <li>Assist in developing and reviewing NDT procedures and techniques.</li>\n <li>Train and mentor Level I technicians as required.</li>\n <li>Maintain work area, chemicals, and equipment in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.</li>\n <li>Participate in audits (internal, customer, and regulatory).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills / Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Certification as NDT Level II in one or more methods per ASNT or NAS 410 standards.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred).</li>\n <li>Minimum 2–5 years of experience in aerospace NDT or special processing.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of aerospace materials, processes, and defect mechanisms.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in aerospace special processing (plating, heat treating, coatings).</li>\n <li>Prior experience in a NADCAP-accredited facility.</li>\n <li>Multi-method Level II certification.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Skills & Competencies:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.</li>\n <li>Strong documentation and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with quality systems such as AS9100.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills for reporting and data entry.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Diversity Statement</h2>\n<p>At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
