    "description": "<p>Hunt Electric and ICC is seeking a qualified candidate to fill our<span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Control Building and Custom Control Enclosure Journeyman</span></span><span> </span>position in our manufacturing division to support the growing demand for specialized electrical installations in Control Buildings and Electrical Houses (E-houses).</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The<span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Control Building and Custom Control Enclosure Journeyman</span></span><span> </span>is responsible for the installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems within prefabricated control buildings, E-houses, and related modular power systems. This position requires a deep understanding of electrical codes, industrial systems, and the ability to execute work safely, efficiently, and to specification.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand, review and implement the installation per the contract drawings and specifications including single line diagrams, schematics, and wiring prints.</li>\n<li>Plan and layout of the project including planned installation material take-off quantities and tool needs based on the project schedule.</li>\n<li>Plan the project’s material, equipment, and labor needs for timely arrival to and from the site.</li>\n<li>Install and terminate conduit, cable trays, and wiring for power and control systems inside Control Buildings and E-houses.</li>\n<li>Coordinate and communicate with the PM and purchasing manager with detailed material requisitions, and delivery schedules.</li>\n<li>Monitor progress schedules to meet commitments. Provide daily written documentation of activities and obstacles.</li>\n<li>Establish and implement prefab project specific tasks.</li>\n<li>Mount, connect, and wire electrical equipment including switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, VFDs, PLC panels, lighting systems, and HVAC controls.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and company-specific installation standards.</li>\n<li>Perform functional testing and assist in factory acceptance tests (FATs) and site acceptance tests (SATs).</li>\n<li>Leadership capacity to mentor apprentices and ensure safety and quality on the job site.</li>\n<li>Efficiency and compliance by applying experience to execute work in line with NEC codes and OSHA standards including safety policies, lockout/tagout, and arc flash protection.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.</li>\n<li>Actively contributes to a positive team environment.</li>\n<li><span>Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance </span><span>to scheduled work hours.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work overtime when needed.</span></li>\n<li>Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Current state licensed journeyman license.</span></li>\n<li><span>Demonstrates </span>Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality, code-compliant installations on time.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills.</li>\n<li>Proficient with computer programs like Microsoft Office, including Excel</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.</li>\n<li>Ability to travel offsite for product commissioning.</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As a full-time<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span> </span>Control Building and Custom Control Enclosure Journeyman</span>, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO). </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>At </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Instrument Control Center (ICC),</span><span> we are industry leaders in manufacturing control panels and custom control enclosures, driven by innovation, quality, and operational excellence.
