Our purpose and passion are to empower patients, their families, and our communities by helping individuals achieve recovery and optimal wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></p>\n<p>The Driver operates company vehicle to transport clients and facility visitors.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities: </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complies with local traffic regulations.</li>\n <li>Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.</li>\n <li>Reports delays or accidents.</li>\n <li>Load or unloads baggage or express checked by passengers in baggage compartment.</li>\n <li>Assist passengers to enter and leave car and holds umbrellas in wet weather.</li>\n <li>Performs miscellaneous errands such as store runs for patients, mail to and from post office.</li>\n <li>Makes overnight drives and extended trips requiring irregular hours.</li>\n <li>Keep vehicle clean, polished, and in operating condition.</li>\n <li>Complies with company dress code.</li>\n <li>During all transports Meets and greets all clients in a professional and polite demeanor.  Makes new clients feel welcomed and comfortable during trip.</li>\n <li>Answers any questions that new clients may have during transport to help orientate them before arriving at facility. </li>\n <li>Complies with company’s drug free work environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Education/Experience:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid MA Driver’s License</li>\n <li>Must have an insurable driving record.</li>\n <li>At least 2 years previous commercial driving experience.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar. Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; and participates in meetings.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>AAC is committed to principles of equal opportunities for all employees. Actual compensation within this range will depend on the candidate’s skills, experience, education, and relevant qualifications.
