Surround yourself with people who care about making a difference – come join us!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Safety Officer to join our newest Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) at The Vista. The Safety Officer will be responsible for protecting life and property of all persons on The Vista premises and patrols the building and grounds to prevent fire, theft and vandalism. Secures, unlocks and protects The Vista buildings. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Competencies</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Enforce on campus parking regulations such as Parking in fire zone, handicap parking, visitor parking, Fleet parking and any non parking area.</li>\n <li>Patrols buildings and grounds; and inspects doors, windows, and locks to determine level of security. </li>\n <li>Escorts visitors, patients and personnel to and from parking areas.</li>\n <li>Patrols parking areas to detect any irregularities. Inspects outgoing parcels as necessary to prevent theft of Christian Health property. </li>\n <li>Enforce on campus parking regulations such as Parking in fire zone, handicap parking, visitor parking, Fleet parking and any non parking area. </li>\n <li>Provides a visible deterrence to crime and prohibited activities by patrolling the buildings and grounds of The Vista. </li>\n <li>Responds quickly and effectively to emergent and non emergent situations. </li>\n <li>Reports all safety and fire hazards observed on routine patrols and inspections. </li>\n <li>Monitors The Vista using electronic security equipment (closed-circuit television, alarms, etc.). </li>\n <li>Writes accurate, clear and legible incident reports and documents investigatory steps and results. </li>\n <li>Investigates incidents of unusual circumstances reported by Christian Health personnel, visitors, physicians or patients and reports and documents all incidents, verbally or through general incident form, by the end of each shift. </li>\n <li>Notifies Manager when items reported as missing are located. </li>\n <li>Assists motorists who become stranded on Christian Health property. </li>\n <li>Ensures only authorized personnel are admitted onto Christian Health premises. </li>\n <li>Responds to emergency calls for assistance to control disorderly conduct or combative patients. </li>\n <li>Assists and gives courteous responses to any inquiries made by patients, visitors or personnel. </li>\n <li>Responds to all emergency codes. </li>\n <li>Works with Security & Safety Manager to report any safety concerns observed during the course of security rounds. </li>\n <li>Orients new personnel to position responsibilities. </li>\n <li>Assists the police department and other Emergency services on campus. </li>\n <li>Increases speeding enforcement. </li>\n <li>Emergency response – Primary responder </li>\n <li>Assists visitors and vendors with directions. </li>\n <li>Helps ensure visitors and vendors have signed in and wearing appropriate badge. </li>\n <li>Assists with Fire and Emergency drills. </li>\n <li>Responds to all Sara alert notifications. </li>\n <li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Full-time 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong> High School Diploma; or equivalent.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Christian Health offers a wide variety of benefits to full-time employees that includes:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Discounted health insurance </li>\n <li>Dental Program</li>\n <li>Paid Vacation, Personal days, Holidays and New Jersey Sick leave</li>\n <li>401k plan for all employees who are 21 years old or older</li>\n <li>Group Life Insurance & Voluntary Life Insurance</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement </li>\n <li>Flexible Benefit plan</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program </li>\n <li>Direct Deposit</li>\n <li>Credit Union</li>\n <li>Child Day Care Center on campus </li>\n <li>Gift shop on campus</li>\n <li>Free onsite parking on campus</li>\n <li>Free meals for all employees </li>\n <li>Pay differentials</li>\n <li>Exclusive employee discounts and special offers</li>\n <li>Access to earned wages prior to payday</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS</h2>\n<p>Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance.<strong>  </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid drivers license required. </li>\n <li>One year experience in the field of security management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  </li>\n <li>Criminal justice background with traffic control experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you are interested in this great opportunity, please apply today on our website listed below.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>https://christianhealthnj.org/careers</p>\n<h2>Min</h2>USD $18.25/Hr.\n<h2>Max</h2>USD $18.25/Hr.",
