As a Full-Time Ride Mechanic, you will be trained and certified to perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and annual rehabilitation of a variety of amusement rides and attractions. Inspections are visual as well as auditory.  </li>\n <li>Performs scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspects, repairs and tests amusement rides and related equipment. This may include repairing or replacement of major components on a wide variety of mechanical devices.</li>\n <li>Help Trouble shoots a variety of mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems and takes appropriate corrective actions with supervision.</li>\n <li>Maintains orderly and accurate records of all required inspections and work performed.</li>\n <li>Communicates the status of assigned rides both verbally and in written format.</li>\n <li>Reads, understands and applies information from manufacturer's manuals for service, repair and or component replacement. </li>\n <li>Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of machinery components (automotive or industrial mechanic experience a plus!)</li>\n <li>A valid State Driver’s License</li>\n <li>High school diploma or valid GED</li>\n <li>A personal toolbox with a solid set of hand tools</li>\n <li>Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays (overtime may be required)</li>\n <li>Willingness to perform physical activities, such as climbing, crawling, and lifting at various heights on ride structures</li>\n <li>Ability to climb up to 200ft</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking) and ability to keep accurate written records</li>\n <li>Vocational or technical training in mechanical field a plus!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Ready for the adventure?
