This person will be responsible for assisting young people develop the necessary skills via experimental learning in order to enhance self-sufficiency. to provide consistent and accurate for client treatment</li>\n <li>Attends mandatory staff meeting and other meetings as assigned</li>\n <li>Operates personal vehicle to transport clients or perform other work related duties</li>\n <li>Actively participates in and/or oversees data collection and the use of data to improve outcomes, practices and service delivery</li>\n <li>Shows initiative by identifying solutions to work towards improving stakeholder satisfaction</li>\n <li>Consistently implements independent living plans to help use become more independent</li>\n <li>Observes, records, and reports the clients’ condition and behavior to determine if clients are achieving outlined goals and outcomes from the clients’ service agreement</li>\n <li>Understands and follows the rules governing client service documentation, including but not limited to medication logs, incident reports, progress notes and all other documentation assigned</li>\n <li>Understands client’s rights and protects them by promptly reporting any violations</li>\n <li>Will adhere to all policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook and Damar Operational Policies and Procedures Manual</li>\n <li>Ensures that the agency meets its quality improvement, evaluation and reporting requirements</li>\n <li>Prioritizes duties in a manner consistent with organizational objectives and growth</li>\n <li>Completes and updates mandatory training and other licensure related items in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Maintains documentation that is accurate and legible</li>\n <li>Utilizes data collection in relation to driving and tracking outcomes and achieving agency initiatives and goals</li>\n <li>Actively participates in and/or oversees data collection and the use of data to improve outcomes, practices and service delivery</li>\n <li>Seeks the best use of materials, equipment and staff to maximize efficiency and effectiveness</li>\n <li>Ensures that all activities, services and programs through Damar are conducted in a manner that is sensitive to and shows respect for the cultural and ethnic diversity for all Damar clients</li>\n <li>Partners with clients, their families, professionals, and the community in a courteous and respectful manner to provide optimal experimental learning experiences</li>\n <li>Takes pride and ownership in Damar’s facilities and assigned work areas</li>\n <li>Acts as a good steward of Damar and/or client finances</li>\n <li>Respects the culture, diversity and rights of all clients, their families and the community</li>\n</ul>\n<h2></h2>\n<p><strong>What you need to be considered:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a directly related human service field</li>\n <li>3 years of relevant experience in this field</li>\n <li>Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements</li>\n <li>Ability to pass and maintain CPR certification</li>\n <li>Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier</li>\n <li>Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions</li>\n <li>Successfully complete a pre-employment physical</li>\n <li>Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong>:</p>\n<p><strong>Physical</strong>: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.</p>\n<p><strong>Vision</strong>: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.</p>\n<p><strong>Hearing</strong>: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.</p>\n<p>#DSCase #DSCommunity</p>",
