    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p><strong></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Tacten is currently recruiting IRATA Technicians (All Levels)</strong> to support upcoming projects in the Atlantic Region, specifically in <strong>Halifax/Dartmouth, Nova Scotia</strong>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic industrial environment where you will gain hands-on experience, further develop your technical skills, and contribute to a team focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Project Details:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Project-based work commencing mid-May 2026 through July 2026</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Work located in Halifax/Dartmouth, NS</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Candidates must be local to the Halifax/Dartmouth area or surrounding region.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Whether you are looking to build hours, expand your experience, or work within a high-performing team, this role offers strong exposure and growth potential within the industry.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform a wide range of tasks at height using rope access techniques in accordance with IRATA standards</li>\n <li>Safely and efficiently utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized rope access equipment while working in suspended positions</li>\n <li>Support and participate in rescue planning and emergency response, ensuring readiness and compliance with site-specific rescue procedures</li>\n <li>Work collaboratively within a composite crew, providing support to team members as required</li>\n <li>Maintain effective communication and coordination with site personnel to promote a safe, compliant, and productive work environment</li>\n <li>Adhere to all company, client, and regulatory safety policies, procedures, and best practices at all times</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid IRATA Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience working in industrial environments</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic with a reliable and dependable approach to work</li>\n <li>Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, supervisors, and team members</li>\n <li>Exceptional commitment to safety and quality standards</li>\n <li>Proven ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and manage time effectively in dynamic work environments</li>\n <li>Self-motivated, with the ability to perform at a high level with minimal supervision</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
