This role involves close collaboration with clients, regulatory agencies (federal and state), and various departments within The Probst Group.</p><p><br></p><p>The Wastewater Operator plays a critical role in the day-to-day operation and preventive maintenance of treatment facilities. In addition to other tasks assigned by management, responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Participate in Weekly Level 10 Meetings</li><li>Collect wastewater samples for process monitoring and compliance</li><li>Operate equipment, read gauges/meters, and record data</li><li>Perform basic lab tasks with minimal supervision</li><li>Assist with maintenance and repair tasks as needed</li><li>Perform routine preventive maintenance with minimal supervision</li><li>Use the MaintainX CMMS system to manage maintenance tasks</li><li>Follow daily task lists provided by the site lead or manager</li><li>Enter data accurately into Excel-based data logs</li><li>Handle chemicals safely and adjust dosing per the supervisor's direction</li><li>Understand and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS)</li><li>Attend all health and safety (H&amp;S) trainings and adhere to the H&amp;S program</li><li>Safely operate (or learn to operate) power tools, forklifts, and scissor lifts under supervision</li><li>Conduct daily facility walkthroughs, complete documentation and checklists, and escalate concerns as needed</li><li>Use the SCADA system and make basic operational adjustments</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p>",
