In this role, the Child Care Specialist builds supportive relationships with students, serves as a positive role model, and helps create a safe, consistent, and therapeutic living environment. </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: Full-time, 4-day work week </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monday 2pm-11pm</li>\n <li>Thursday 2pm-11pm</li>\n <li> Friday 3pm-11pm</li>\n <li> Saturday 9am-11pm</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits for Full Time Employees</strong></p>\n<p>Health InsuranceOffered through Blue Cross Blue Shield with generous employer contribution</p>\n<p>Enhanced Retirement Plan25 to 33 percent employer match based on tenure</p>\n<p>Student Loan AssistanceLoan consolidation support, counseling, and limited employer contribution</p>\n<p>Tuition BenefitsDiscounted tuition through college and university partnershipsTuition assistance for reimbursed or prepaid coursework</p>\n<p>Home Mortgage InitiativeFavorable down payment options of 3 to 5 percentReduced closing costs co paid by Seven Hills Foundation</p>\n<p>Work Life Balance</p>\n<p>3 paid personal days11 paid holidaysAccrued paid sick time</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you experience any issues with the application process or have questions about this position, please contact:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Sarah LelievreHR RecruiterSeven Hills Foundation Stetson School</p>\n<p>[email protected]</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Provide direct care and supervision to students in a structured residential treatment setting, ensuring safety and meeting students’ daily physical, emotional, and developmental needs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Serve as a positive role model by reinforcing appropriate behavior, healthy routines, and life skills using trauma informed practices aligned with the ACORN treatment model.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain constant visual and auditory supervision of students and implement daily schedules, routines, and program activities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Respond to student behavior using approved behavior management strategies using Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Non-Violent Crisis Intervention techniques, including participation in physical intervention when necessary.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support student participation in recreational, skill building, on campus, and approved off campus activities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborate with treatment team members and serve as a student advocate as assigned.</p></li>\n <li><p>Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including shift notes, incident reports, and behavioral tracking.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment and respond appropriately to student health and safety needs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Attend required trainings, meetings, and maintain current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain reliable attendance, professional conduct, and teamwork to support a safe and therapeutic environment.</p></li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned that are consistent with the scope and responsibilities of the position.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Must be at least 18 years of age.</p></li>\n <li><p>High School Diploma, HiSET, GED, or equivalent required.</p></li>\n <li><p>Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including participation in CPI physical restraint with or without reasonable accommodation.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working with youth in residential, behavioral health, or human services settings.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to be an engaged, reliable, and collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
