Are you fascinated by how the electrical grid works behind the scenes? S&amp;C Electric Company is seeking Assemblers. As an Assembler, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team that works to keep the lights on around the world.&nbsp;</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Assembling IntelliRupters at one of several stations, in sizes approximately 9’ x 4’ x 4’.</span></li><li><span>Identifying, transporting, installing, mounting and bolting all switch components (ranging from 5 lbs. to over 35 lbs. without equipment assistance). Some judgment required to assemble and make simple adjustments.</span></li><li><span>Performing mechanical inspection using torque wrenches, screwdriver and tape measure.</span></li><li><span>Using simple material handling equipment, hand tools, power tools, simple gauges and instruments, and overhead cranes, if required.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>What you’ll Need To Succeed:</strong></span></p><p><span>Job Requirements ( To select this job at a minimum you must have the following):</span></p><ul><li><span>Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly operations.</span></li><li><span>Ability to use basic shop math and measuring tools such as tape measures.</span></li><li><span>Ability to use air impact tools and other hand-held tools.</span></li><li><span>Ability to follow specific instructions and procedures and read assembly prints.</span></li><li><span>Mechanical assembly experience preferred.</span></li><li>Willingness to assist in other areas and support the team where needed to meet production goals.</li><li>Attention to quality and detail, with a commitment to producing work that meets specifications and standards.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><span><strong>Education</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>High school Diploma or GED Required</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span>Ready to make an impact and become an employee-owner?
