    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><link href=\"https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/css/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"></p><div><p><strong>Title: &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)</p><p><strong>Job Category: &nbsp;</strong>Service Provider</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Reports To:&nbsp;</strong>Program Director</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Basic Functions: &nbsp;</strong>Provide prevention, assessment and remediation services to patients who exhibit difficulties in the areas of language, speech, voice, and fluency. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Scope: &nbsp;</strong>SLP leads the Speech Therapy process in development, implementation, and coordination of the speech-language therapy program and participating in business operating duties.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Certification of Clinical Competence with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association &nbsp;</li><li>License or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department</li><li>Graduation from Accredited Speech-Language Pathology Master&rsquo;s Program</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Works towards fulfilling Company&rsquo;s Mission, Vision and Values.</li><li>Selects/implements evidence-based practices which supports the goals and objectives of the speech-language program.</li><li>Participates in multidisciplinary meetings to review evaluation results, integrate findings with other disciplines, offer recommendations, and develop individual treatment programs.</li><li>Monitors and reassess the effects of speech-language therapy intervention and the need to continue, modify, or discontinue intervention.</li><li>Teaches, monitors, and collaborates with support personnel and patient family to facilitate skills in areas of speech and language.</li><li>Participates in team discussions in an articulate, positive, and productive manner.</li><li>Maintains assigned equipment in proper working order. &nbsp;Performs routines repairs.</li><li>Completes all documentation in a timely manner.</li><li>Attends departmental/business staff development activities.</li><li>Maintains proficiency in speech-language therapy by attending workshops, conferences and trainings offered by other therapists.</li><li>Attends all mandatory in-services and participates in Company committees as requested by supervisor.</li><li>May represent the Company while participating in community outreach events, activities, meetings, trainings, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Responds to emergency situations in a competent manner.</li><li>Adheres to SLP licensure requirements.</li><li>Adheres to established guidelines within Company&rsquo;s Official Documents.</li><li>Assists in quality management, research, public relations, and program development projects when appropriate.</li><li>Participates in Company&rsquo;s Professional Development Plan.</li><li>May be assigned to be a clinical supervisor for assistant level students.</li><li>Carries out all responsibilities professionally and efficiently.</li><li>Maintains effective communications at all levels; within the work setting and company</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Due to the nature of the Company, service delivery settings will vary. &nbsp;Must be able to adapt to a variety of settings and be willing to work in clinical, community, and home settings.</li><li>Work area may be crowded.</li><li>Working schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.</li><li>Duties may involve being on one&rsquo;s feet for extended periods.</li><li>Duties may involve traveling to and from areas within the western region of New Mexico.</li><li>Duties may involve exposure to hazardous conditions using power tools, contagious diseases, and chemicals to repair/adjust patient equipment.</li><li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
