Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is located at our Milan Ohio facility</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><u>OVERVIEW</u></p>\n<p>Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years experience in pressure systems, heat exchanger and/or other related systems to support wind tunnel test facility refurbishment. </p>\n<li><u>TYPICAL FUNCTIONS</u><li>Interpret, understand, and create system P&ID’s.</li><li>Specify pipe/fittings by media, flow, pressure/temperature rating.</li><li>Understand & implement code-compliant system design and fabrication methods.</li><li>Evaluate and select instruments, control valves, regulators, pressure safety devices, etc.</li><li>Understand the fluid mechanics of pressurized systems and how different components work and interact.</li><li>Provide on-site engineering/technical support of the fabrication & commissioning phases.</li><li>Update project technical leads with schedule and task information</li><li>Work with technicians to properly install and test hardware</li></li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS</p>\n<li>Experience developing piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID)</li>\n<li>Experience with <strong>ASME B31.3 Process Piping, </strong>ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC)<strong>, and related National Consensus Codes.</strong></li>\n<li>Experience in design and verification of pressure systems and related hardware. <strong>such as pressure vessels, piping systems,</strong> heat exchangers</li>\n<p>Preferred </p>\n<li>Familiarity with 29 CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulations</li>\n<li>Familiarity with aerospace and/or aerospace related facility projects</li>\n<li>Ability to design in Creo or other solid modeling software a plus</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION</strong></p>\n<li> <u>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</u></li>\n<p>Excellent communication (verbal and written) and phone skills.</p>\n<p>Ability to hear normal conversation.  One eye (minimum) correctable to 20/20.  </p>\n<li> <u>WORK ENVIRONMENT</u></li>\n<p>On site</p>\n<li> <u>EQUIPMENT AND MACHINES INVOLVED IN WORK TASK</u></li>\n<p>Office equipment includes computers (basic excel, PC Data processing), calculators, FAX, copier, scanner, printers.  Personal transportation vehicle</p>\n<li> <u>CRITICALITY OF ATTENDANCE</u></li>\n<p>Work assignments are usually during normal daily work hours.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must be a U.S. citizen</p>",
