Our multi-disciplinary team approach includes surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, women&#39;s centers, diagnostic imaging services, social service support, nutritionist, integrative services, and genetic counseling.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><strong>Mission Statement</strong>: To serve the community by providing quality, comprehensive cancer care which respects the values and needs of each individual.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><strong>Overview:</strong> We are looking for a <strong><ins>qualified and experienced</ins></strong> Research Assistant to assist in managing and conducting clinical trials and ensure that studies are properly conducted in conformance with the protocol guidelines, departmental standards, and good clinical practices.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><strong>Schedule:</strong>&nbsp; Full-time, Monday through Friday day shift position. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong> &nbsp;</span></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assists with maintenance of complete regulatory files, data entry, drug receipt, drug storage, and transportation and other administrative duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Responsible for quality of data.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assists in ensuring compliance with department standards and all federal regulations and international guidelines of good clinical practice.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Active in maintaining continued education and professional growth through participation in continuing education programs.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assists with lab processing and shipping.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assists with completion of CRFs, data entry/query resolution within protocol specified timelines.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assists to ensure proper study drug accountability, including receipt, storage, dispensing and transportation.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assist Research Nurses in the maintenance of regulatory documents.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assists and participates in study initiation visits, monitoring visits, closeout visits and audit visits.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assists with orientation of new staff and ongoing education of other staff in the research department as appropriate &nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><strong>Knowledge and Skills:</strong> &nbsp;</span></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Excellent clinical and functional skills.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Organized and detail oriented.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Strong leadership skills.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Strong communication and team building skills a must.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Computer skills required (Microsoft Office). &nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><strong>Education and Experience:</strong> &nbsp;</span></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Associate or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Current IATA, Human subjects protection training or GCP training <ins>highly</ins> desirable. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><em>We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package including health/dental/vision and life insurance, 401K, and a caring work environment.
