    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p>Grand Valley Manufacturing is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This position is responsible for executing quality inspection operations, as described in the manufacturing router.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li id=\"isPasted\">Read blueprints, drawings, plans, and routers to fully understand the desired customer requirements and specifications.</li><li>Follow inspection procedures, methods, and certification processes.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform a wide variety of gauging set-ups and devise methods of checking unusual parts.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform quality inspections on a wide variety of machined metal parts of complicated form with exceptionally close tolerances, ensuring the final product meets the provided specifications.&nbsp;</li><li>Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records. Report any anomalies/non-conformances.</li><li>Participate in non-conformance investigations and the resolution of quality-related issues.</li><li>Able to use common inspection tools (calipers, tape measure, micrometers, etc.).</li><li>Possesses knowledge of GD&amp;T</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><em>Duties may be changed, or additional duties assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</em></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">High school Diploma or GED required, education in vocational or technical school preferred. &nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Minimum of 2-5 years in a manufacturing setting, preferably in an inspection role or related field.&nbsp;</span></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Experience operating inspection tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM, Faro Arms, etc.)</li><li>Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent mathematical skills</li><li>Able to work in a team environment</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands &amp; Working Environment</strong></p><p>Works in a manufacturing environment and is exposed to moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles. Required to wear eye, foot, and/or other personal protective equipment while performing duties. May on a frequent basis squat, climb, push/pull objects, lift up to 25 lbs., and use hands/fingers for grasping and reaching. &nbsp; May on an occasional basis bend at the waist; reach above the shoulder; turn or twist body; lift up to 50 lbs.; carry up to 35 lbs.; and use hands/fingers for fine manipulation. The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to loud.&nbsp;</p><p><em><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">The physical demands and working environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
