The Freezer Worker plays a vital role in providing support to the production plants as well as storing and shipping ingredients and finishing products.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>What FGF Offers</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>FGF believes in Home Grown Talent, accelerated career growth with leadership training, unleashing your potential  </li>\n <li>Competitive Compensation, Health & Welfare Benefits including Vision & Dental and flexible options at competitive premiums  </li>\n <li>401k matching program </li>\n <li>Discount program - Restaurants, gyms, shopping, etc. </li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<li>Performs the responsibilities and tasks assigned with the general guidance of the Logistics Leader, Leader, and Logistics Site Leader.</li>\n<li>Warehouse equipment responsibilities:</li>\n<ul>\n <li>Operates machinery or equipment as trained and instructed following safety guidelines at all times.</li>\n <li>Assists with preparing for production shift.</li>\n <li>Become knowledgeable of the mechanics and operation of machine in which they operate.</li>\n <li>Understand the receiving process and how it supports the Distribution Center.</li>\n</ul>\n<li>Palletizing responsibilities:</li>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists in the loading of trucks.</li>\n <li>Assists in the completing shipping/receiving documents.</li>\n <li>Verify loads leaving the premises.</li>\n</ul>\n<li>Comply with the following programs within the production area:</li>\n<ul>\n <li>Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program</li>\n <li>Current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)</li>\n <li>Any and all food safety programs.</li>\n <li>Any and all safety programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<li>Utilizes understanding of the Distribution Center to make Management aware of delays in the loading process/production selections and set up.</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate problems or issues that are occurring on the production floor or the warehouse area to their Crew Leader or Leader.</li>\n<li>Ability to work and communicate with other departments on production issues or concerns.</li>\n<li>Follows attendance policy. Observes department call-in procedures.  Exhibits timely arrival and departure and dependable time habits including meal and other breaks.</li>\n<li>Maintains a positive attitude and gets along well with coworkers.</li>\n<li>Exhibits teamwork and willingness to help others.</li>\n<li>Follows dress code and maintains a professional appearance.</li>\n<li>Can be relied upon to complete assigned tasks.</li>\n<li>Complies with established Departmental and Organizational policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Works within a team environment to meet/exceed established production standards.</li>\n<li>As need dictates, both assigned shift, work location, and work schedule may be changed by management with or without prior notice.</li>\n<ul>\n <li>May have to work weekends and holidays. </li>\n <li>May have to work over 40 hours per week. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 1 year work experience. Warehouse experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Must have a great attention to detail to be able to detect the presence of product or ingredient issues.</li>\n <li>Ability to visually inspect product and materials.</li>\n <li>An understanding or willingness to learn food manufacturing and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to understand and follow verbal or written communications.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekend and overtime as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u> </u></strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?</u></strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
