Intern may also assist with budget, plan set, general permit compliance, and all additional site reporting requirements.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinating project implementation ensuring all specifications are met and executed correctly</li>\n <li>Assisting the Project Manager with subcontractor oversight/organization to ensure the project schedule is maintained </li>\n <li>Developing and maintaining project schedules and forecasts</li>\n <li>Working with the Project Manager on project status updates including budget monitoring, schedule tracking, and personnel and equipment needs</li>\n <li>Managing effective communications between technical, construction, and project controls groups</li>\n <li>Studying plan specifications and related documents (analyzing labor, material, equipment and time requirements)</li>\n <li>Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data trends to generate conceptual, schematic, and hard dollar estimates</li>\n <li>Assisting with engineering drawings and layouts</li>\n <li>Collaborating with the Project Manager and Construction Manager, along with senior management, on project administration</li>\n <li>Preserving confidentiality when necessary </li>\n <li>Performing other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid driver’s license is required</li>\n <li>Must be enrolled in a Civil Engineering program and/or related field from an ABET accredited university is required</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required</li>\n <li>OSHA 30 preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Environment & Conditions</h2>\n<p>• Ability to use electronic equipment such as computer, cell phone and handheld radio for communication with supervisors and co-workers• This position requires a flexible work schedule: nights, weekends and holidays• Must be able to climb, maintain body equilibrium, reach, grasp, bend and walk/stand/sit for extended periods of time• Must be able to hear and see naturally or with correction• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds• Be subject to loud noises• Be subject to atmospheric conditions - one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odor, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation• This position requires working in the internal and external environment• Ability to work independently and as a team • Ability to work under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment• Ability to effectively communicate</p>",
