Our automotive, battery and energy storage, and related transportation industry testing and certification expertise is recognized by leading manufacturers worldwide for evaluating how their products and services meet and exceed quality, safety, sustainability and performance standards.&nbsp;Intertek is continually innovating and evolving to reduce risk for consumers, brands and organizations in every sector and industry around the world.&nbsp;We go beyond Testing, Inspection and Certification of products: we are a Total Quality Assurance Provider to industries worldwide.&nbsp;Our Purpose: Bringing quality, safety, and sustainability to life.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">The Coordination of the Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health policies and procedures and maintenance of these systems including and ISO 17025 quality systems for Automotive Research and Carnot Emission Services.&nbsp; Acts as the management representative to drive QES&amp;H activities.&nbsp; Responsible for the site’s regulatory compliance and driving timely follow-up to QES&amp;H CARs.&nbsp; Coordinates external auditor and corporate quality system follow-up.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>Shift/Schedule:First Shift, M-F.</strong></p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.&nbsp;</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Manages a QES&amp;H team to ensure regulatory compliance (including site permits) and to drive process improvements and safety awareness</li><li>Timely initiates or responds to Corrective Action Requests CARs resulting from investigations or audits.</li><li>Maintains a companywide schedule to ensure the site conducts timely Internal Audits&nbsp;</li><li>Initiates investigations as needed for accidents and near misses and recommends improvements.</li><li>Coordinates worker’s compensation claims and works to minimize lost time.</li><li>Chairs Safety Committee meeting with key management staff to drive awareness and address action items.</li><li>Provide training for Internal Auditors</li><li>Initiate and provide reports for Management Review</li><li>Initiate and close Corrective Actions based on Audits and Management Review</li><li>Act as Management Representative for external auditors and corporate</li><li>Maintain and update IAR Intranet for Quality Documents</li><li>New employee QES&amp;H orientation</li><li>Complies metrics to ensure proactive steps are taken to improve all aspects of QES&amp;H&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other duties as required.</li></ul><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><i>This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details.
