Ensures the on-time production of quality products while handling the daily supervision of the departmental personnel.\n  </div>\n </div>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n <div style=\"margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px\">\n  <div>\n   <div style=\"margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px\">\n    <div>\n     <p><strong>Supervisory Capacity:&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Direct Reports:&nbsp; 20+</strong></p>\n     <ul>\n      <li>Plan and schedule personnel in cooperation with the Production Manager (i.e. vacation, temporary workers, overtime work).</li>\n      <li>Provide production expectations and quality feedback to team members in daily start up meeting.</li>\n      <li>Monitor daily established production requirements throughout the shift to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met while ensuring HSE and 5S policies and standards are followed.</li>\n      <li>Train and monitor employee performance to ensure operator is certified and operator training matrix is updated and meeting departmental targets.</li>\n      <li>Compile KPI data and populate end of shift report.&nbsp; Distribute to manager and appropriate operations and support personnel.&nbsp;</li>\n      <li>Ensure job training and daily job rotations are in place and enforced.</li>\n      <li>Ensure compliance of the UAW contract, team member handbook, safety guidelines, all rules, programs and procedures that pertain to production team members.&nbsp;</li>\n      <li>Monitor quality of product throughout the production process.</li>\n      <li>Participates in Team Leader meetings and Quality initiatives.</li>\n      <li>Daily review of process and people to identify and implement CI opportunities.</li>\n     </ul>\n     <p><strong>Required Education Level&nbsp;</strong></p>\n     <p style=\"margin-left:0in\">High School Graduate or Equivalent</p>\n     <p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Area of Study:&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; General Studies</p>\n     <p><strong>*Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.</strong></p>\n     <p><strong>Required Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge)</strong></p>\n     <p style=\"margin-left:0in\">3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Production.</p>\n     <p style=\"margin-left:0in\">1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.</p>\n     <p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.</p>\n     <ul>\n      <li>Computer literacy.</li>\n      <li>Excellent oral communication skills.</li>\n      <li>Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.</li>\n     </ul>\n    </div>\n   </div>\n  </div>\n </div>\n</div>",
