Equivalent experience in a construction-related position will also be considered. </li>\n <li><em><strong>Must be willing to travel and relocate.  Project sites are located domestically and internationally, so relocation and/or travel are required.</strong></em></li>\n <li>10yrs of heavy civil construction experience.</li>\n <li>Experience supervising multiple project engineers.</li>\n <li>Heavy Civil Construction background/experience.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and time management skills. </li>\n <li>Safety oriented, 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA certificates are preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic - Willing to do what it takes to get the job done.</li>\n <li>Ability to function as a team-builder/player.</li>\n <li>The ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for managing and directing the project team by providing the communication, coordination and follow-up necessary to meet the project goals and objectives.</li>\n <li>Maintains ongoing training and mentoring of project team.</li>\n <li>Directly responsible to senior management.</li>\n <li>Provides ongoing project information and project reviews as required by management.</li>\n <li>Coordinates training and compliance measures to ensure project procedures are followed.</li>\n <li>Ensures scope of work, schedule, and budget are clearly defined and understood by senior management and all project participants, including client.</li>\n <li>Determines, controls, and maintains overall project and discipline schedules and budgets.</li>\n <li>Tracks schedule and budget progress with project milestones and takes all action necessary to keep project on track.</li>\n <li>Identifies and secures necessary approvals for all changes in project scope, budget and/or schedule.</li>\n <li>Maintains ongoing communication with client, making adjustments as necessary to comply with client's needs within contractual obligations, or adjusting project deliverables to meet the client and Barnard's needs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled, E-Verify Employer</em></p>",
