font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Custodial &amp; Facility Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Perform daily custodial duties and provide hands-on support to staff.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct regular and preventative maintenance on facilities, equipment, and machinery.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Inspect building areas, equipment, and custodial work, recommending and directing corrective measures as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Arrange rooms for meetings, special events, and programs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain inventories, order supplies, and ensure proper distribution of equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Contribute to a safe and welcoming environment that respects cultural diversity.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Supervisory Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Plan, assign, and supervise custodial staff to ensure high-quality service.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct performance feedback and contribute to performance appraisals.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Recruit, hire, and train custodial personnel in collaboration with Human Resources and management.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Monitor employee attendance, review time records, and ensure compliance with departmental policies.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Administration &amp; Budget</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure compliance with budgetary limits and recommend cost-saving procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Monitor operations to maintain service quality while controlling expenses.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Communication &amp; Customer Service</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Develop positive working relationships with staff and patrons.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Communicate issues, recommendations, and feedback promptly and professionally.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Safety &amp; Risk Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain knowledge of all safety rules and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Report work-related injuries, unsafe conditions, and accidents promptly.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Correct hazards when possible and instruct co-workers on safe practices.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What You Bring:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Experience &amp; Education</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">High school diploma or equivalent required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Minimum of 3 years’ experience in custodial or building maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Licenses &amp; Certifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Illinois Class D Driver’s License required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Spanish language proficiency preferred.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Abilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong mechanical aptitude, including use of tools and machinery.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work independently and pay attention to detail.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Physical capability to lift, bend, squat, and perform manual labor as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Frequent standing, walking, twisting, bending, and reaching overhead.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lifting requirements: light (up to 10 lbs.), medium (up to 30 lbs.), and heavy work (up to 50 lbs. with assistance).</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Work Environment &amp; Hours</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments, including varying temperatures, noise, dust, and equipment operation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Full-time, non-exempt position;
