Apply now!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Responsibilities of a Construction Project Manager</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Determine and define scope of work and deliverables</li>\n<li>Predict resources needed to complete project</li>\n<li>Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites</li>\n<li>Draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirements</li>\n<li>Manage costs in order to meet budget</li>\n<li>Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts</li>\n<li>Manage construction schedule and activities</li>\n<li>Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines</li>\n<li>Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes</li>\n<li>Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships</li>\n<li>Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Qualifications for a Construction Project Manager</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture or equivalent experience</li>\n<li>3-5 years of experience in project management within construction</li>\n<li>Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings</li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software</li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles</li>\n<li>Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs</li>\n<li>High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n<li>Some night shifts required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS</span></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee, with or without reasonable accommodations, to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
