This role applies working knowledge of cybersecurity to improve incident detection, analyze threat intelligence and support both classified and unclassified environments. The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SOC Analyst Tier 2</span> position requires the ability to work under limited supervision while applying technical expertise to moderately complex problems. This is a unique opportunity to shape the growth, development and culture of an exciting and fast-growing company in the cybersecurity market.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll be doing:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and respond to tickets escalated from Tier 1 analysts.</li>\n<li>Analyze and apply cyber threat intelligence to support detection and response.</li>\n<li>Support incident detection and analysis across unclassified and classified environments.</li>\n<li>Investigate alerts and anomalies, escalating to Tier 3 when necessary.</li>\n<li>Apply technical knowledge to resolve problems of moderate scope and complexity.</li>\n<li>Document findings and contribute to incident reports.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with peers to improve workflow detection and escalation processes.</li>\n<li>Support continuous improvement of SOC processes and procedures.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you need to know:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, SOC operations and incident response.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with cyber threat intelligence and its application in SOC workflows.</li>\n<li>Experience investigating alerts and supporting incident detection.</li>\n<li>Ability to resolve moderately complex technical issues with limited supervision.</li>\n<li>Understanding of both classified and unclassified operational environments.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Must have’s:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree or 3+ additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.</li>\n<li>3+ years of relevant experience.</li>\n<li>Proven ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into clear, actionable tasks and processes through critical thinking.</li>\n<li>Applicants must currently hold and maintain an active Secret clearance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Beneficial to have the following:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Industry-recognized certifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Where it’s done:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Onsite (Washington, DC).</li>\n</ul>",
