The CAD programmer is responsible for understanding the layouts of steel designs and translating them into machinery language for the burn tables and tube laser. Come join our team!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>[email protected]</p>\n<p>Job closes 6.30.2026</p>\n<p>Compensation rage ;  $26.00 -$32.00 /hr.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Program and optimize CNC cutting operations for burn tables using CAD/CAM software to ensure efficient material usage and accurate part production.</li>\n <li>Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation to create precise cutting programs.</li>\n <li>Maintain a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material requirements, and production terminology related to plate processing and structural components.</li>\n <li>Develop, edit, and troubleshoot cutting programs utilizing G-Codes and M-Codes.</li>\n <li>Prioritize programming work based on production schedules, due dates, and on-time delivery requirements.</li>\n <li>Work closely with production personnel to ensure programs run efficiently and produce high-quality parts.</li>\n <li>Support shop floor operations when needed, including operating burn tables and assisting with machine setup and troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Learn and develop proficiency in tube laser programming and operation to support expanding production capabilities.</li>\n <li>Monitor program performance and make adjustments to improve cut quality, material utilization, and production efficiency.</li>\n <li>Maintain records, program files, nesting data, and production logs as required.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong attention to detail</li>\n <li>Problem-solving and analytical skills</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines</li>\n <li>Dependable and able to work under pressure</li>\n <li>Team-oriented with strong communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings and blueprints</li>\n <li>Experience with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, DraftSight, Primecut, or similar systems)</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of 3D modeling software</li>\n <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>Ability to coordinate with sales and production teams to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules</li>\n <li>Willingness to learn and support tube laser programming and operation</li>\n <li>Minimum 1–2 years of manufacturing or fabrication experience</li>\n</ul>",
