This role will be responsible for the day-to-day support of the assigned region branch activities.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Set up new customers and suppliers, working with sales reps and the sourcing team, to obtain the necessary information to complete the customer or supplier set-up.</li><li>Monitor, manage, and work the open accounts receivable that are past due for the assigned branches.</li><li>Set up and maintain customer portals. Allocate portal cost to respective branches.</li><li>Utilize a variety of portals to access invoice status and payment information.</li><li>Support the facilitation of compliance requests in conjunction with the sales rep and home office.&nbsp;</li><li>Gather, review, and process new or expired tax exemptions and tax status documents, working with Tax Accounting and the customer to resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Work with the branch, sales reps, and suppliers to resolve open discrepancies.</li><li>Work with Customer Service and Accounting to resolve billing/payment issues on customer accounts</li><li>Monitor KPI&rsquo;s and take corrective actions as needed</li><li>Assign and maintain customer freight collect and third-party account set up&nbsp;</li><li>Support continuous improvement projects to reduce overall total cost of managing business.</li><li>Other tasks as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Three years&rsquo; minimum experience in the packaging industry preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of accounts receivable processes&nbsp;</li><li>Working knowledge of ERP systems and related IT applications, NetSuite experience preferred.</li><li>Experienced in Lean Six Sigma</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to solve problems using a structured approach&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite, TEAMS/Sharepoint and ERP systems.</li><li>Some domestic travel</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Warehouse environment, not climate controlled.</li><li>Office environment, climate controlled</li></ul><ul><li>Noise level in this work environment is usually moderate</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(44, 130, 201);\">Why work at Associated Packaging, Inc.?</span></strong></p><p><strong>Longevity</strong> - Associated Packaging, Inc. has been providing packaging solutions for companies since 1977.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Stability</strong> - Even during times of recession and economic uncertainty, Associated Packaging, Inc. has remained financially strong and experienced tremendous growth.</p><p><strong>Customer Service</strong> - We focus on partnering with our customers to find and maintain the best solution possible for their packaging needs.
