    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Title:</span> Quality Control (QC) Inspector<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Des Moines, IA<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Employment Type:</span> Full‑Time</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Overview</span></p>\n<p>EPI Power is seeking an experienced<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Quality Control (QC) Inspector </span>to support electrical construction activities on a major data center project in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">West Des Moines, IA.</span> The QC Inspector ensures installations meet project specifications, codes, and quality standards while working closely with field and commissioning teams to drive quality, safety, and efficiency.</p>\n<p><br>This position requires availability to work six days per week (typically Monday–Saturday) during peak construction phases.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspect electrical installations (underground duct banks, cable tray systems, cable bus systems, wall rough‑ins) for compliance with project specifications and NEC requirements.</li>\n<li>Perform delivery and equipment inspections to verify condition and documentation.</li>\n<li>Support inspections and testing of low‑ and medium‑voltage cable installations.</li>\n<li>Verify torque, termination, and workmanship of electrical equipment.</li>\n<li>Document and track inspections using quality systems such as CxAlloy, Nexus, Procore, or ACC.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with field, commissioning, and project management teams to resolve quality issues promptly.</li>\n<li>Maintain strong knowledge of electrical codes and compliance requirements.</li>\n<li>Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications accurately.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.</li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of construction or field quality inspection experience (electrical preferred).</li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools preferred.</li>\n<li>OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).</li>\n<li>Excellent technical documentation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.</li>\n<li>Willingness to relocate for future projects preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience on data center or mission‑critical projects.</li>\n<li>Understanding of data center power distribution and critical electrical infrastructure.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with commissioning workflows, inspection processes, and turnover documentation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment</span></p>\n<p>Primarily a field‑based role on active construction sites with occasional office work.
