Employees have the opportunity to pursue industry certifications and continued training with company support, including:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)</li>\n<li>OSHA Certifications</li>\n<li>Rigging &amp; Signalperson Certifications</li>\n<li>Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Certifications</li>\n<li>Additional industry and quality-related certifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We believe in developing our people and providing clear pathways for advancement within the organization.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with inspecting incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications</li>\n<li>Learn to perform layout inspections and measure dimensions using tools such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments</li>\n<li>Visually inspect welds, bolts, coatings, and assemblies for quality and workmanship</li>\n<li>Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and basic fabrication specifications</li>\n<li>Help maintain inspection records, quality reports, and calibration logs</li>\n<li>Work with shop employees and supervisors to address quality concerns and support corrective actions</li>\n<li>Support internal audits, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts</li>\n<li>Assist with monitoring welding, bolting, and painting processes to ensure standards are followed</li>\n<li>Promote and follow all company safety policies and procedures</li>\n<li>Perform other quality-related duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn</li>\n<li>Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings preferred</li>\n<li>Basic math skills, including measurements and geometry</li>\n<li>Interest in welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or quality control</li>\n<li>Familiarity with inspection tools or measuring equipment is a plus</li>\n<li>Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office</li>\n<li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li>\n<li>Safety-focused mindset with a positive attitude</li>\n<li>Previous shop, manufacturing, welding, or construction experience is helpful but not required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills for Recent Graduates</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic blueprint and shop drawing reading</li>\n<li>Understanding of measurements, tolerances, and layouts</li>\n<li>Familiarity with welding processes and fabrication terminology</li>\n<li>Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of weld symbols and fabrication processes</li>\n<li>Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Strong organizational and documentation skills</li>\n<li>Internship, co-op, shop, or hands-on fabrication experience is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or GED required</li>\n<li>Trade school, technical school, welding program, or related education preferred</li>\n<li>Preferred majors may include Welding Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Quality Systems, or related technical/trade programs</li>\n<li>Internship, co-op, or hands-on fabrication/manufacturing experience is a plus</li>\n<li>Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
