Job Summary
Dynalectric Company San Diego is hiring an entry level technically savvy CAD Drafter to be part of our team. Dynalectric uses the latest CAD technologies such as AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Navisworks and Bluebeam for BIM coordination and shop drawings, low voltage systems, drawings, and instrument and control design.
The position may offer career advancement to an individual who possesses or shows good ability to learn and understand the following: Production of electrical installation drawings, Low voltage systems design, 3D modeling, CAD content development, CAD software troubleshooting

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned.
Assisting CAD and Electrical Detailing depts. in 2d drawing production
Red line markups and as-built in CAD software and Bluebeam
Scanning and printing large format documents
Qualifications

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Solid understanding of AutoCAD, professional training preferred but not required
Ability to communicate with a team
Revit and Navisworks is a plus
Bluebeam experience is a plus
Basic use of email, Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office
Blueprint reading or past commercial electrical construction experience is a plus but not necessary
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel)
Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT, NAVISworks, Lotus notes and other electrical, technical, or construction programs.
Familiarity with project management/document control software.
Familiarity with construction/financial software packages.
