You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>For this role, NACG offers a combined gross rate of up to <strong>$68.35/hour</strong> as well as room for growth! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Where You’ll Be Working</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Site: Suncor Base Mine</p>\n<p>Schedule: 14x14 (Paid for 12 hrs. Successful candidates will become a part of that union.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Electrical troubleshooting and repairs on electric haul trucks and other mining equipment out in the field.</li>\n <li>Repairs and maintenance of all equipment and support infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Perform prevantitive maintenance and monitor equipment. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What Makes You The ONE</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Alberta or Interprovincial (Red Seal) Journeyperson Electrician</li>\n <li>Must have previous mining experience.</li>\n <li>Experience on Komatsu 830 / 930 or other electric haul trucks and shovels is required.</li>\n <li>Must be highly motivated, organized and value safety above all. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>What's Next</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you are chosen to move forward in our hiring process for a site-based role, you will be asked to provide the following:</p>\n<li>Provide a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and ability to provide a recent Driver’s Abstract</li>\n<li>Valid CSO or BSO (Energy Safety Canada) </li>\n<li>Silica Awareness (Energy Safety Canada)</li>\n<li>Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness (Energy Safety Canada) </li>\n<li>OHS Alberta Legislation Awareness (Energy Safety Canada) </li>\n<li>H2S Awareness (Energy Safety Canada) </li>\n<li>Field Ergonomics (Energy Safety Canada)</li>\n<li>Be subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites</li>\n<li>Undergo and successfully pass the following pre-employment testing:</li>\n<ul>\n <li>Breath Alcohol Test</li>\n <li>Urine Drug Test</li>\n <li>Fitness-to-Work Health Assessment</li>\n <li>Audiometric Testing</li>\n <li>Vision Screening</li>\n <li>Criminal Record Check</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Once dispatched the following processes will occur:</p>\n<li>Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing</li>\n<li>An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out</li>\n<li>After all results and paperwork are received by NACG, candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site-specific details.</li>\n<p><em>Please note: The onboarding process can take anywhere from 3-8 business days.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Shift, site, and start times are subject to change.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE, SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED VIA PHONE OR EMAIL.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>NACG in a Nutshell </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>North American Construction Group (NACG) has served as an industry leader in the heavy construction and mining industries for over 65 years.
