This role is for an on-going assignment. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>#SIC</strong></p>\n<p><strong>#LI On-Site</strong></p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Run conduit and wire for new installs.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot electrical components.</li>\n <li>Demo electrical on equipment. </li>\n <li>Ability to put together material list for projects.</li>\n <li>Ability to drive scissor lift and boom lift.</li>\n <li>Ability to work overtime. </li>\n <li>Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed.</li>\n <li>Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit, using hand and power tools such as porta bands, pipe threaders, and conduit benders.</li>\n <li>Pull wiring through conduit, and splice and connect wiring using hand tools.</li>\n <li>Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand and power tools.</li>\n <li>Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads.</li>\n <li>Test continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components, using instruments.</li>\n <li>Detect, recognize, and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.</li>\n <li>Perform installations, repairs, and modifications according to NEC, NFPA70e, local, and facility safety regulations.</li>\n <li>Perform frequent safety inspections of work area, equipment, and tools in accordance with SIC policy to ensure compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and SIC’s safety program.   </li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and also foster positive work practices in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Must be detail oriented with the ability to analyze and resolve work problems.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 3 years Electrician experience required and/or combination of completed apprenticeship/training program with experience.</li>\n <li>Skilled in both written and verbal communication.</li>\n <li>Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.</li>\n <li>Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong> </strong>May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above</li>\n <li>Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas</li>\n <li>Must have full range of motion consistent with age</li>\n <li>Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders</li>\n <li>Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises</li>\n <li>Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces</li>\n <li>Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
