This individual will be an integral member of the on-site BIM Department, providing essential support throughout the lifecycle of the construction project. Reporting to the&nbsp;BIM Manager, the BIM Coordinator role will work closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day site activities. They will work closely with project-level management team members as well as with Hoffman’s IT Team regarding BIM process standards, technology support, and training. This role will provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members to optimize Navisworks features and follow project modeling and coordination standards. This position will be fully at the project site near Boise, Idaho.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Be a technical advisor in the onsite field office.</li><li>Participate in BIM set-up, standards, and coordination process for projects.</li><li>Establish early standards for data exchange with the project team to optimize use of BIM for scheduling, quantity take-off, estimating, and other functions during all stages of the project.</li><li>Participate in technological collaboration between project team members, clients, design team members, builders, consultants, subcontractors, and others.</li><li>Coordinate and manage model families and initiate coordination efforts using Navisworks Manage.</li><li>Facilitate the exchange and coordination of the 3D model with consultants, contractors, and fabricators.</li><li>Possess a general understanding of Newforma Konekt to support effective collaboration, issue tracking, and project coordination across teams.</li><li>Run clash detection studies and generate reports for the project team. Assign responsible party workflows and manage these tasks to successful completion.</li><li>Ensure the construction geometry is error-free and presented in an efficient manner for the crew members.</li><li>Maintain model libraries throughout the project and create archive record models at completion.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li><li>Provide clear communication, verbally, in writing, and electronically.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $83,200.00 - $119,600.00</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Professional Experience and Education</p><ul><li>Four to seven (4-7) years' experience in architectural, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry required.</li><li>Specific experience in complex commercial projects is required.</li><li>Experience in the delivery of large, complex projects is preferred.</li><li>High School diploma or GED required.</li><li>Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related industry preferred.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Position Related Skills</p><ul><li>Experience working in and around data centers, semiconductors, and/or advanced manufacturing environments preferred.</li><li>Experience with&nbsp;Building Information Modeling (BIM), AutoCAD, and Revit.</li><li>Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate with various personnel within and across departments and at all levels of leadership.</li><li>Work schedule must be flexible to allow extended hours or off-shift work to accommodate changing construction schedule and sequences.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships.</li><li>Ability to work closely with a variety of trade and craft people in a field work situation. Patience and professionalism are essential.</li><li>Ability to communicate and present design and/or construction ideas to a variety of audiences.</li><li>Ability to work well and maintain a cooperative attitude through high-pressure situations.</li><li>Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills.</li><li>Excellent time-management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work while frequently interrupted by phone calls and questions on work in progress.</li><li>Trained in design document reading and design specifications.</li><li>Proficient in&nbsp;Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams),&nbsp;and have a general understanding of working within a computer network.</li><li>Experience with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methods and digital fabrication preferred.</li><li>Proficient in project management software such as Procore and Bluebeam.</li><li>Experience administering and organizing Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360,, and other common data environments.</li><li>Need to have problem-solving skills and be a critical thinker.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Autodesk’s Navisworks Manage, including Clash Detection, Quantification and Timeliner tools.</li><li>Ability to successfully host, run, and document BIM coordination meetings.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical and Mental Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is a combination of being stationary and moving about the work location.</li><li>Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.</li><li>Must be able to climb stairs, ascend and descend ladders, and inspect confined or underground spaces.</li><li>Hands/Arms: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Sight: Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus in an outdoor environment. Must be able to safely operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license. The work is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and reading print and digital documents.</li><li>Hearing: Must be able to work in proximity to loud equipment more than 75% of the time.
